To spread this idea, we have designed a unique experience: an inspirational trip to Marrakech. We want to create an environment, where women from different cultural backgrounds connect and exchange ideas, share experiences and learn from one another. An environment for sparking conversations, new perspectives and touching experiences.

She’s Mercedes is a global initiative dedicated to inspiring, connecting and empowering women, highlighting their unique success and creating a dialogue that transcends cultures, industries and experiences.

This goes hand in hand with the aim of the ABURY Foundation: It supports children’s education, women empowerment and community development and stands for the belief, that the power of inspired minds can affect excellence.

Andrea Bury, founder of ABURY, calls Marrakech her second home for over ten years and set up a unique program for open-minded, curious women: to spend four days in a magical environment.

You will be staying in beautiful Moroccan riads - small houses with an open courtyard - in the Medina of Marrakech, the old part of town. Here you can get in touch with local women and their Moroccan lifestyle.

Preliminary Program Highlights:

During our welcome dinner on day one, you will have the chance to learn even more about life in Morocco: Andrea Bury will share her knowledge and experiences in her keynote about entrepreneurship as a woman in the Arabic World.

Day two will be all about social change. You will visit the ABURY pre-school and get in touch with local women we are working with, doing traditional chores like handcraft.
For those who feel like it, we offer a yoga and mediation session in the morning.

This also applies to day three, which is dedicated to the topics fashion and lifestyle. During an inside Marrakech tour, you have the chance to dive into the local highlights of craft, design and art.
In the evening, interior architect Meryanne Loum-Martin will give you an inspiring insight into her work.

Before departure on day four, you will be joining us for a goodbye-breakfast after having completed another optional yoga and mediation session. For those who would like to prolong their stay in Marrakech, we offer local recommendations.

To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we work together with Riad Anayela, Riad Ptit Habibi and Riad Omri. You can choose between the following options:

You can prolong your stay with special rates – please just contact us for individual arrangements. The price includes the whole program, airport transfers, breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as non-alcoholic drinks and wine during meals. Flights have to be booked individually – we take care of you from your arrival at the Marrakesh airport.
